Save the date --- 2012 Gala Benefit and Silent Auction Saturday, February 25th, following the final Studio Showing Performance at Ailey. This event, which supports the BAE Student Company promises to be a fun and memorable evening for the entire family! Invitations will be distributed in early January. Spring Performance: May 18-20 (4 performances) at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, featuring the students of levels 2-9 along with selected level 1 students. Program and ticket information will be available soon. Ticket will go on sale in early April. The BAE Student Company is comprised of students in the Pre-Professional Division of Ballet Academy East. The BAE Student Company was formed to provide vital performing opportunities to the aspiring dancers of Ballet Academy East. Performance experience and excellent training are the essential components in a young dancer’s artistic and technical development. Graduates of BAE are currently members of professional companies throughout the country, including New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Kansas City Ballet, Boston Ballet II, Los Angeles Ballet, Sarasota Ballet, Memphis Ballet and Oregon Ballet Theater, to name a few.
