We are currently holding virtual summer programs through August 21st. The fall semester will begin on September 21st. Our goal is to open this fall with both in-person and virtual class options for our students. We are awaiting official announcements from the state, but wanted to let you know what we are hoping and planning for in the meantime:
- In-person classes at BAE will be very small and will be open to ages 3 and up. Virtual classes will be available for ages 18 months and up.
- Many safety and cleaning protocols will be in place for our in-person classes, including a new air purification system, social distancing, masks worn at all times, continuous cleaning and sanitizing, daily health checklist, staggered class times, and much more.
Please be aware that although our goal and our strong hope is to reopen for in-person classes as well as virtual classes, our first and foremost commitment is to the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, extended families and community. If our current plan needs to change in order to put safety first, then we will do so without hesitation and with full measure.
We know that you will have many questions as we all plan ahead for the fall. We don’t have all the answers now, but will continue to keep you posted on plans as they are carefully formulated, including more flexible enrollment options, the daily check-in process, and the detailed safety protocols. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued patience and support. We look forward to dancing with your children, either online or in person, very soon!
Primary: Ages 6 – 7
Enrichment: Ages 7-13
The BAE Primary syllabus is specifically designed to prepare students for the requirements of Level 1 within BAE’s Pre-Professional Division. Classes include ballet vocabulary and exercises that develop strength, coordination, and flexibility. Children will experience musicality and the joy of dance in a nurturing environment.
The Enrichment Division is designed for children who wish to further their love and appreciation of ballet, but in a less intensive environment. Classes provide exceptional training and are taught by experienced faculty in an encouraging environment.
Primary and Enrichment students are welcome to join without and audition and are not expected to have any previous experience.
