August 17-28, Ages 9-19
Cap off your summer ballet training on a high note and ensure a strong start to the new school year at BAE’s August Intensive!
Students will train under the guidance of the renowned BAE faculty and experience BAE’s rigorous classes and high standards in a warm, inspiring, and encouraging environment. The two-week comprehensive program includes ballet technique, pointe, men’s classes, variations, pas de deux, contemporary, stretch and strength, character, and more.

Audition times will be announced closer to the audition date. Auditions typically take place between 2:30-7:30pm.

Audition Fee: $35.
The program dates are August 17 through August 28, 2026. Classes are held Monday through Friday each week.
Classes are taught by the distinguished BAE Pre-Professional Division faculty led by Artistic Director Stacey Calvert and esteemed guest artists.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Contact us at info@baenyc.com to request a financial aid application after acceptance.
Students who identify as female: Any solid-color classic-cut leotard (tank, camisole, short or long-sleeve style) with pink or flesh-tone tights and ballet slippers for ballet class. Any solid-color classic-cut leotard with footless tights for modern class. Traditional skirt and character shoes for character class. Skirts (other than character class), sweatpants, leg warmers, and multi-strap, multi-color, halter, turtleneck, or rhinestone-studded leotards are not permitted.
Students who identify as male: Black or white tee shirt with black tights for ballet class and any color tee shirt with footless tights for modern class.
BAE recommends the 92NY Residence dorms for our students. The Residence is located one block from BAE and has 24-hour security, a state-of-the-art gym, and many other amenities. Nearby hotels and short-term apartment rentals, including Courtyard by Marriott on East 92nd Street, are also available.
