
Children + Teen Division: For ages 7-14. This program is designed for children who wish to further their love and appreciation of ballet within a non-professional track while still benefitting from BAE’s excellent training. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the annual Spring Presentation held at BAE. No audition or previous experience is required.

Make-up Classes
Missed classes for holidays (except for the Winter & Spring Breaks), illness, or any other reason may be made up by appointment by contacting the front desk staff (in person, frontdesk@baenyc.com, or 212.410.9140). Make-ups may be arranged prior to the missed class.

Tuition Policies:
- You may pay in full for the school year or in two installments. If paying in two installments, you may opt out of the second half of the year at no charge.
- If you wish to change classes anytime during the school year, as long as there’s a spot, we’re happy to accommodate you.
- Enrollment is ongoing, and tuition is prorated based on the week your child begins class. Please contact us at info@baenyc.com for tuition information.
- There is a discount for siblings and enrolling in additional weekly classes. Please contact us at info@baenyc.com to activate the discounts.
- Tuition is non-refundable. If you need to withdraw from your currently enrolled term, please email Amy MacDermott, Director of Admissions, within the first four weeks. You will receive a credit for future classes.
Under the leadership of Stephanie Chun, the talented faculty further students’ training and love of dance.
Ages 7-10
Students who identify as female: Teal leotard, pink or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. Tutus and skirts are not permitted.
Students who identify as male: White T-shirt, black tights or sweatpants, and black ballet slippers.
Ages 11+
Students who identify as female: Any solid color leotard, pink or flesh-toned tights and ballet slippers. Students have the option to wear a black ballet skirt after the barre. Tutus are not permitted.
Students who identify as male: White T-shirt, black tights or sweatpants, and black ballet slippers.
All students should have their hair neatly pulled back. Ballet slipper drawstrings should be cut or tucked in.
